Why bother to read this blog? Because, from my perspective, it's important to understand the world around us based upon what our objective, common sense tells us and not what some special interest or salesman wants us to believe. How do you know the difference? Simple: you look behind the title. If the writer has something to directly gain from what they're telling you, they're selling you something. They are motivated by a special interest and lack objectivity. Does that mean you'll like what you read here? Not necessarily. But your common sense will tell you that I'm not a politician or someone's salesman, but an independent thinker, who, like you, is struggling to survive in the real world.
